Clear advice. Clear commercial links.
FrameRate is preparing to support its editorial work through affiliate links and appropriate display advertising. Readers should always be able to identify those relationships.
How affiliate links work
A retailer or affiliate network may pay FrameRate a commission when a reader makes a qualifying purchase through a participating link. The retailer’s terms determine attribution and eligibility. An affiliate relationship does not mean the publication has tested the product.
How links will be identified
Articles containing affiliate links will include a clear disclosure near the relevant content. Commercial retailer buttons will be labelled, and affiliate links will use appropriate sponsored link attributes. Prices will include a date checked and relevant kit details where quoted.
Editorial standards
Our intended recommendations are based on the evidence available for the article and the needs of its reader. Hands-on testing, specification analysis and manufacturer statements will be distinguished. We will not invent review scores, test results or product prices.
Review units and sponsored work
If a brand supplies a review unit, offers compensation or sponsors an article, that relationship will be stated in the content. Sponsored work will be identified, and any conditions affecting a review will be made clear.
Current preview status
The demonstration stories currently on this site contain no active retailer affiliate links. Product selections, ratings, specifications and price sections in reusable layouts are placeholders, not commercial recommendations.
